Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Place a large skillet on heat and pour the coconut oil. Let it heat up for 30 seconds and then add the chopped cabbage and tomatoes.

  • Step 2

    Saute for about 5 min then add the butternut squash. Stir the mix on medium heat.

  • Step 3

    Increase the heat high and then add the ginger, black pepper powder, and the basil leaves.

  • Step 4

    Add 2 cups of water. Close the lid and let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the butternut squash is soft and tender. Open the lid and turn off the heat.

  • Step 5

    Blend the mix into a fine paste. Add another cup of water if needed and let it simmer for about another 5 min.

  • Step 6

    Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves.
