Ingredients

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Boil 6 cups of water. Add the barley to the boiling water. Crush the cardamom pods and put the crushed seeds into the boiling water. Simmer on low heat for 15 min.

  • Step 2

    Turn off the heat, add saffron and cover the mix. Let it sit for 5 min. Optionally, add a tablespoon of maple syrup.
