Boil water and cook the pasta in the boiling water as per directions.
Chop tomatoes finely. You can even grind the tomatoes. Heat up olive oil and add asafetida. Drop in the finely chopped tomatoes and add salt. Add Italian spices and black pepper powder. Let the tomato mix cook while you continue on to the "finalizing pasta" stage.
Keep adding some of the starchy water from the boiling pasta into the tomato mix (while cooking) about 7 min into the process of boiling. Keep adding the pasta strands from the boiling water into the tomato mix. Garnish the pasta with fresh basil and olive oil.
